Finished in a captivating Propulsion Yellow Pearl, the all-electric Acura RSX Prototype has made its world debut at Monterey Car Week—previewing Acura’s next-generation premium performance SUV arriving in the second half of 2026. It’s a dramatic, coupe-like design that signals where Acura performance is headed.
What it previews for Louisiana Acura fans
The production RSX will be Acura’s first model engineered in-house on Honda’s new global EV platform and the first EV produced at the Honda EV Hub in Ohio, built on the same Marysville line as the Acura Integra. Expect dual-motor AWD, sport-tuned double-wishbone front suspension, a low center of gravity, and Brembo brakes—all aimed at a truly engaging drive.
ASIMO OS: Acura’s software-defined future
RSX will introduce ASIMO OS, an intelligent operating system designed to learn your preferences—music, routes, drive feel—and evolve via over-the-air updates. Think faster features, more personalization, and a seamless, connected cabin experience for Baton Rouge drivers.
Power beyond driving
RSX is envisioned as mobile energy storage. Beyond the commute, it can power devices and even provide home backup power—adding real-world utility to Acura performance.
See it in Monterey
The RSX Prototype appears at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering on Friday, Aug. 15 (press event 10:36 a.m. PT) and on the prestigious Concept Lawn at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, Aug. 17.
